Oaxaca Pluma comes from San Vicente Yogondoy, a community of 15 coffee growers in the Sierra Sur mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. Pluma, Spanish for feather, is the name of the growing zone. The coffee is fully washed and dried in the sun, and the lot mixes five varieties grown between 1,000 and 1,700 meters.

Diversion is our single-origin series. Each release is one lot, and when it's gone, the next one takes its place.

Roaster's Notes

This lot was meant to go into our Stand Tall blend. When we tasted it on its own, it stood out, so we decided to release it as a single origin. We roasted it light, but on the darker side of light, a bit further than other light roasts you may have had. You get the sweetness first and enough acidity to notice it, without a sour edge.
