Burn the Map.
A Colorado coffee roastery serving the Front Range and beyond. Coffee by the bag, subscriptions, wholesale, and mobile coffee cart catering.
Why I started Viafi
Path Onward.
I came to coffee through whiskey. For a few years I worked as the national educator for a whiskey brand, traveling, teaching, and sharing the story of that brand. It was a dream job for many. Most days it was a dream job for me. But I've always had an entrepreneurial drive, and the itch to build something of my own never went away.
Two years of thinking later, Viafi exists. The name is two pieces. Via: your own path. Fi: fidelity to who you are. I've never been good at following the well-marked route. We don't need to follow. We don't need perfect guidance. The shorthand for it boils down to three words: burn the map. Not a slogan for everyone. Just how I move.
Viafi is a story of my own life, and one I want to share. Coffee is the instrument. We're building a roastery for everyone: the workhorse blend that becomes your morning ritual, or the wild single-origin you brew when you want to be surprised. Same care goes into both.
All of this started from a love of telling stories, which turned into a curiosity about flavor, and the search hasn't stopped. Thank you for being here at the beginning.

A roastery worth working at, coffee worth standing behind, and a company that outlasts us.
Flavor first.
We care about what's in your cup. We taste every coffee before we buy it and again after we roast it. Flavor decides what we sell.
Team.
We treat the people who make Viafi like the product they make. Same care, same standard.
Keep learning.
The work of coffee is bigger than what we know today, and we don't pretend otherwise. We taste, we adjust, we don't get comfortable.
Lift the community we belong to.
Local suppliers, the people who pour our coffee, the people who drink it.
